    One post-doctoral position is open at the Laboratory of Biological Control, of the Biological Institute, a state-run institute affiliated with the Department of Agriculture and Supply of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The opportunity is to develop research, until August/2021, on morphological and molecular analysis of Neorileya ashmeadi Crawford and N. flavipes Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Eurytomidae), curatorial activities in the collection of parasitoids, including mounting specimens, and migration of the collection’s database from MS-Excel to Darwin Core. The sub-project is related to the Institutional Research Development Plan (PDIP) of the Biological Institute, grant number 2017 / 50334-3, São Paulo Research Foundation-FAPESP (grantor).
    The candidate must have completed his Ph.D. less than seven years ago in areas related to the Taxonomy of parasitic Hymenoptera, in accordance with the rules of the FAPESP post-doctoral scholarship. You must have proven experience in the following topics:
    • Taxonomy of Hymenoptera, preferably on Chalcidoidea;
    • Curation of parasitic Hymenoptera collections;
    • Acquisition and edition of images in focus stacking systems (LAS 4.0 or equivalent);
    • Database (Darwin Core);
    • Scientific publication in an international magazine.
