    The Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR) which is part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) in Campinas, in partnership with the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), offers a post-doctoral position to evaluate the impacts of the application of different types of vinasse, obtained in the sugarcane biorefinery on soil N2O emissions and on the functional microbial community. This post-doctorate project is included in the Thematic Project entitled “Sugarcane – Livestock Integration: Modeling and Optimization”.

    The approved candidate will be hired for 24 months. It is desirable that the candidate is motivated, scientifically productive and present expertise in project scope. The candidate should conduct field and laboratory activities, as well as work on the writing of project reports and scientific papers

    The position is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Fellowship in the amount of BRL 7,373.10 monthly (approximately USD 1,900) plus Technical Reserve equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the scholarship.
