IMIBIC-P2Med offers 6 Postdoctoral Fellowships of up to 3 years at the Maimonides Biomedical Research Institute of Cordoba (IMIBIC,

Eligibility:
The Fellowships are targeted to Recognised Researchers (R2) based on the research profile descriptors of the European Commission (

1) Eligible applicants must be in possession of a PhD or have at least 4 years of full time postgraduate research experience by the call deadline, i.e. 10th January 2020.
2) All applicants must comply with the International Mobility Rule: The applicant must not have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the call deadline.

https://p2med.imibic.org). The Online Application Platform will be available only during the call opening, from October 1st until the call closing, 10th January 2020, midnight CET.

The selected Fellows are nominated Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellows and will be hired through an employment contract with full Social Security coverage, including full health insurance and unemployment benefits.
The annual Gross Salary before tax for researchers without family allowance is 34.850 €.
The annual Gross Salary before tax for researchers with family allowance is 38.930 €*.
Additional 6.630 € per year will be available for research costs of each Fellow.
*The family status of the researcher will be determined at the date of deadline of the call (i.e.
10 January 2020) and will not be revised during the fellowship.
Evaluation and Selection:
The selection of the IMIBIC-P2Med Fellows follows an open, transparent, merit based, impartial and equitable selection procedure based on peer review.
The process includes the eligibility check of all applications, evaluation of CV and Project proposal, and personal interview.
Evaluation criteria:
The evaluation criteria for the evaluation of the CV and Project Proposal is:
CRITERIA 1: Excellence of the candidate’s CV. Score 0-40.
CRITERIA 2: Excellence of the Project proposal. Score 0-60.
The maximum score is 100. A threshold of 60 will be applied. Up to 18 best ranked applicants above the threshold will be invited for Personal Interview.
The evaluation criteria for the Personal Interview is:
CRITERIA 1: Scientific knowledge and skills in the area of interest, understanding of a field of study and mastery of research associated with that field. Score 0-60.
CRITERIA 2: Capacity of creative thinking, critical analysis, and synthesis of new and complex ideas. Score 0-20.
CRITERIA 3: Presentation and communication skills, ability to explain the expected outcome and value of their research to the research community and also to lay audience. Score 0-20.
