    About You
    You will have a PHD in the broad area of Computer Science or Engineering disciplines with a focus in either Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Video Analysis or Recognition. A working knowledge of computer vision and machine learning with strong programming (e.g. C/C++, MATLAB, Python, Java) and mathematical skills is essential to the role as is experience in software development. You will have excellent organisational skills, be flexible and able to identify opportunities along with maintaining total confidentiality and working within ethical guidelines. Above all, your excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships at all levels will ensure that you quickly become a member of our friendly and creative team.

    About the Role
    You will work on a 2-year collaborative UKIERI-DST (UK-India) project focusing on developing a novel computational framework for monitoring and anticipating human driver’s activities (distractions, eating, drinking, etc.) in a given context (congestion, weather, road works, traffic sign, etc.). The objective is to design and develop innovative deep learning and computer vision techniques to be integrated in a resource-constrained automobile environment with limited computational power and fast enough to run in real-time.
