Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist position in the group of Dr Ingo Greger to study AMPA-glutamate receptor complexes using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM).
This project builds on our recent work to apply cryo-EM to ionotropic glutamate receptors (Herguedas et al., Science 2016) and aims to obtain structures of AMPA receptor complexes. Candidates should have a PhD and experience with cryo-EM; expertise in membrane protein biochemistry would be a bonus.
Successful applicants will be awarded an 8-month Maternity Cover Postdoctoral Scientist position.
