The Institute of Natural and Mathematical Sciences seek to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the research group of Professor Carlo Laing.

In this appointment you will be expected to contribute to the group's research activities in the modelling of networks of neurons. You will have a strong background in applied mathematics, specifically nonlinear dynamical systems, and experience in numerical computation. Some knowledge of neuroscience, or a willingness to learn, is advantageous.
This position is for three years, requires a PhD qualification, and is based at the Auckland campus.
