Post Doc scholarship available in photon upconversion

The molecular materials lab at the University of Gothenburg offers a postdoctoral fellowship for the duration of up to 2 years. The goal of the project is to develop novel molecular systems capable of performing triplet-triplet annihilation photon upconversion. The successful candidate will get an opportunity to practice cutting edge spectroscopy in an interdisciplinary context that will produce advanced opto-materials.

    Qualifications
    • The successful candidate should have a broad knowledge within chemistry and physics, and significant documented experience within optical spectroscopy (preferable time resolved) in the curriculum. In addition, the candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently but also to work efficiently in a team setting.
    • To be eligible for a post-doc scholarship the recipient must hold a PhD degree within a relevant field. The applicant must not have been employed at the University of Gothenburg in the past two years.
