Postdoctoral Researcher

Two Postdoctoral Positions are immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Mu-Shui Dai, Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics and the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University for highly motivated individuals. Our goal is to understand molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway and the c-Myc oncogenic pathways in normal and stress conditions and their implication in human cancer. The candidates are expected to study the ubiquitination and deubiquitination regulation of the stability and activity of p53 and c-Myc in cells as well as in vivo using genetic mouse models. Multidisciplinary approaches including molecular, cellular and biochemical, and mouse genetic analyses will be used. Candidates with Ph.D. and/or M.D. degrees and intensive training in the areas of molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology are encouraged to apply.

Experience in mouse genetics is highly desirable for one position.
Position information can be found online at www.ohsu.edu/jobs, referencing IRC47147.
Candidates should send a C.V. and contact information for three references to:
