POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER POSITION IN ORGANIC/POLYMER CHEMISTRY

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research position to work on an international collaborative research project between Turkey (Bilkent University) and UK (King's College, London) and funded by TUBITAK-BRITISH COUNCIL.
The project involves the design and synthesis of fluorescent multi-glycosylated graphene oxide (GO)-based nanocarriers with special focus on the delivery of antigens for vaccination purposes (e.g. cancer or infectious diseases vaccines).
The candidate is required to have a background in chemistry and preferably with an expertise in synthetic organic and polymer chemistry. The post is for 24 months, and is available from 01 August 2017.
Applicants must have a PhD in chemistry. The applicant should be capable of working under his/her own initiative and working within a small research team, so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.
