    One post-doctoral position is open at the Laboratory of Biological Control, of the Biological Institute, a state-run institute affiliated with the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The work is associated with the project “Implementing biological control of whiteflies and leafminers through the use of parasitoid wasps and predatory mites in greenhouse horticulture in the state of São Paulo, financed by the São Paulo Research Foundation – FAPESP. The objective is to survey the parasitoid wasps associated with leafminers (Liriomyza spp.) in protected cultivation systems using an integrative approach of Taxonomy.
    The candidate must have completed his Ph.D. less than seven years ago, following the rules of the FAPESP post-doctoral scholarship, in areas related to the Taxonomy of parasitic Hymenoptera, preferably in Chalcidoidea. You must have proven experience in the following topics:
    - Taxonomy of Chalcidoidea, with emphasis on Eulophidae;
    - Curation of parasitic Hymenoptera collections (minimum experience of 2 years);
    - Image acquisition and editing with extended focus on auto montage software and digital microscope (LAS X and DVM6);
    - Non-destructive molecular extraction and molecular data analysis.
