    This post is full time, 35 days per week and fixed term until November 2025.

    We are looking to recruit a PDRA to join the Research Centre for Optimal Health in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Westminster to work on a research project funded by a life science company.
    Our ongoing research project focuses on the development and application of novel image processing techniques to extensive collections of medical images to create novel biomarkers. The work will involve driving analyses to investigate age and health outcomes using these biomarkers. In this role you will be responsible for applying quantitative biomarkers from the imaging and healthcare datasets (including the UK Biobank), supporting our research and development effort, and leading as well as contributing to the writing of scientific papers and the success of our projects.
    The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have an advanced degree in a relevant field. Previous experience with research focusing on biomedical data analysis, medical image computing, and machine learning is advantageous but not required. Previous experience with magnetic resonance imaging is also preferred. The ideal candidate should have experience in computational and statistical programming languages. Knowledge in human physiology and anatomy is also a plus.
