Postdoc position, Yale School of Medicine, Molecular Psychiatry



    The Kaffman lab is investigating the mechanisms by which early adversity alters neurodevelopment and behavior in the mouse. We have several exciting projects that use cutting edge technologies in neuroimmunology, genomics, and imaging in mice. Please see https://medicine.yale.edu/lab/kaffman/
    for additional details regarding different projects in the Kaffman lab. We are looking for talented and motivated candidates with the following expertise and experience:
    • Solid background in neuroscience or neuroimmunology.
    • Experience with flow cytometry, single-cell RNA-seq (sc-RNA-seq), or single-nucleus RNA-seq (sn-RNA-seq) is highly desired.
    • Extensive experience working with mice including behavioral work, brain dissection, and processing brain tissue for immunohistochemistry and confocal microscopy.
    • Solid publication record.
    • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English.
    • Completion of Ph.D. by the time of hiring.
