£32,333 - £37,100 pa (pro rata)
Continuing the recent investment in the Department of Geography and Planning, we wish to recruit one Graduate Teaching Assistant within Physical Geography & Earth Science at 0.5 FTE over a five-year period.
The expectation is that no less than 50% of your time will be made available for the pursuit of your PhD or MPhil studies.
It should be noted that most teaching and related activities will be concentrated into two semesters and will be focussed largely in support of large practical classes undertaken in the Central Teaching Laboratories (CTL) and in our portfolio of Geographical Information Systems practical teaching.
In addition to teaching on campus, you should be willing and able to spend short periods away from Liverpool (up to two weeks) to contribute to field courses and/or other commitments related to the international profile of the University.
