The group of Prof. Andrea Brancale at the Department of Organic Chemistry of the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague is looking for two postdoctoral fellows in medicinal chemistry (synthesis and computer-aided drug design). The candidates will join a newly established international research group, interested in the design and synthesis of novel biologically active compounds that target diseases with an unmet medical need. In particular, the candidates will be involved in the design and synthesis of novel antiviral compounds.

We are looking for:
• Highly motivated postdocs with excellent research experience
• PhD degree in organic/medicinal chemistry
• Excellent knowledge of medicinal chemistry (organic synthesis and/or computer-aided drug design)
• Track record of publications in peer-reviewed international journals
• Pro-active, flexible, and responsible colleagues willing to supervise younger team members
• Excellent command of English (level B2 or higher)
• Organizational, communication and presentation skills

• Expected start: February/March 2023
