Post-doctoral Fellowship: Transition to Peat Free



    Are you passionate about sustainability and the environment, and keen to tackle the climate/biodiversity crisis? The RHS is looking to recruit a post-doc to undertake an exciting new 5-yr fellowship to undertake research and grower trials in collaboration with the industry and gardeners to support the transition to peat free. The successful candidate will provide grower support and share the outcomes of the research and trials so as to have impact across the wider horticulture and landscaping industry and the gardening community.

    Applicants should have a PhD in horticulture, agriculture, soil science, biology, geography, environmental science, or equivalent experience leading a relevant research programme in commercial horticulture or agriculture, with a proven ability to conduct large scale experimental research trials.
