We are looking for an experienced academic with a keen interest to further develop research and the application of performance science to enhance pre-professional training and performance. We are interested in applicants from the fields of performance science (dance/music/musical theatre) and sports science and the successful applicant will have an established research profile and substantial experience in academic teaching and leadership.
You will hold a PhD with proven experience of leading research projects and mentoring teams, and the ability to take on the role of a Director of Studies/Lead supervisor for PhD students. The postholder will have a research time allocation and be expected to attract research funding for the institution and lead research projects. The successful candidate will be joining a passionate community of staff and a wider community of international links and partnerships.
