is it good to go for phd in food science after msc and then become a registered dietitian

    Hello,
I am looking an answer for, should I go for phd in food science after completing my masters in science in food & nutrition and then become a registered dietitian?
I am interested into going for phd but also want to become a dietitian, for which I am currently enrolled into msc in food and nutrition and then planning to go for phd in food science directly after the completion of my msc program and after completing pdh I would go for the registered dietitian exam in order to become one.
Is my planning worth doing or should I consider some changes, please suggest, I am really confused and doubtful about the same.

    Thank you
