About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to join the laboratory of Professor Tim Somervaille to identify and investigate novel therapeutic targets in the therapy of haematological malignancies, in particular the myeloid leukaemias. You will work on the evaluation of candidate epigenetic regulators (these projects are already well advanced) and also develop screening strategies for new targets using genome-wide CRISPR approaches.
About you:
You should have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences along with relevant research experience in a biomedical discipline. A background in biochemistry, chromatin, epigenetics and/or leukaemia is desirable but not required.
