An experienced Quantitative Geneticist with strong Bioinformatics skills is sought to lead and manage an exciting new area of research within AFBI. The individual will join AFBI at a pivotal time and a key function of the role will be to advance livestock breeding using the multi species and diverse data streams within AFBI and AFBI’s associated stakeholders and in collaboration with other academics and industry partners. The successful candidate will design and deliver impactful research and genetic tools to address the grand challenge of feeding the global population in a sustainable manner.
