We are seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented postdoctoral fellow (PhD or MD-PhD) to complement our team at the Department of Biomedicine of the University Children’s Hospital in Basel/Switzerland. Our group establishes models to functionally study genetic alterations that are involved in the development, maintenance and relapse of acute leukemia (Stavropoulou et al., Cancer Cell, 2016; Picaud et al., Cancer Research, 2015). Potential candidates must have a practical experience in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry and mouse experimentation. Practical knowledge in bioinformatics data mining is a plus. The Department of Biomedicine of the University of Basel hosts over 30 different research groups and offers an international stimulating and friendly atmosphere in an attractive city, rich in culture, located in the middle of Europe.
