    The Foundation for Liver Research is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and committed scientist to investigate the roles of NF-kB and MAPK signalling pathways in liver inflammation and metabolism. The postholder will be expected to carry out research programmes to explore mechanisms of liver cell injury. The postholder will be based at the Institute of Hepatology and will be required to work closely with other colleagues and research collaborators, to proactively design/run experiments, publish data in high impact peer reviewed journals and participate in educational programmes within the Institute.

    Applicants must have a PhD in immunology/hepatology/molecular biology or a closely related discipline and a proven scientific interest in inflammation, metabolism and signal transduction. They must also have demonstrable laboratory based experience in molecular biology and aseptic tissue culture techniques.
