KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To be part of a team taking forward a research programme into the development of lake modelling tools for the purpose of effective lake management.
• To collate, process, upload and vouch financial claims made by AFBI and other Project Partners for the purpose of the research programme.
• To assist with the production of and coordination of technical reports.
• To produce financial reports on behalf of the research programme to SEUPB requirements.
• To coordinate and implement the Programme Communication Plan, which involves a launch event, workshops, newsletters etc.
• To engage with the Project Partners regarding procurement, claims and other financial matters in line with SEUPB guidance.
• To engage with SEUPB and cooperate with any auditing processes they put into place.
• To attend relevant training courses as required.
• To carry out such other duties in relation to the management of AFBI and of the Agri-Environment Branch as may be required by the Programme Manager.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must, by the closing date for applications, be able to demonstrate having:
1. A qualification in accountancy (such as an Accounting Technician Ireland qualification, or Business Accountancy qualification).
2. At least two years experience of managing research projects /
programmes.
3. At least two years experience of financial reporting within an
organisation.
4. Experience of writing reports for funders / stakeholders.
5. Good communication skills and experience of dealing with project stakeholders.
