The Tecnológico de Monterrey School of Medicine is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows in bioinformatics and genomics at Dr. Victor Trevino’s laboratory. The projects involve writing computer code and algorithms for the analysis and interpretation of genomic data such as mutations, copy number variation, gene expression, and methylation in cancer and stem cells from public and locally generated data. Applicants are expected to demonstrate experience in related areas by thesis or research papers and a PhD diploma or close to be obtained before starting. Candidates will be involved in a highly competitive multidisciplinary environment. The time of contract and salary will depend on the candidate expertise. The salary of Tecnológico de Monterrey position is about $27,000.00 Mexican pesos per month (approximately $1,650.00 US dlls per month, which is good enough for living expenses of a person or a small young family) plus food vouchers, money savings, and basic medical expenses.
