    Job summary: This is a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) funded post to undertake research in the area of autoimmunity. The project will be carried out in the state-of-the-art Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute (https://www.tcd.ie/biosciences/) and forms part of a multidisciplary approach that entails collaboration across medicial chemistry, biochemistry and immunology. Therefore, the candiate will be expected to display excellent organizational and communication skills.

    Experience: Prospective candidates should have a PhD in a biological subject. Knowledge/experinece with animal models of autoimmune disease is a necessity and experience in ex vivo immune analysis would be a distinct advantage. Candidates would be expected to possess an accredited animal training course certificate (e.g. FELASA B/C or UK home office modular certificate, LAST Ireland) that is recognised by the National competent authority for Scientific Animal Protection in Ireland (HPRA).

    The person will be expected to liaise with all PIs on the project, and and work and present data in conjunction with chemisrty and biochemistry colleagues.
