Energy Systems Integration Partnership Programme (ESIPP) is an €11m capacity building project co-funded by Science Foundation Ireland, industry and philanthropic donation. The collaborative project spans a number of disciplines, such as Electrical, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering, Geology, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Consumer Behaviour and Technology Adoption. The ESIPP programme will focus on Energy Systems Integration (ESI) which is a multidisciplinary area ranging from science, engineering and technology to policy, economics, regulation and human behaviour.
We are seeking a Senior Energy Systems Researcher, based in UCD, with experience in demand side analysis in the building energy sector. The ideal candidate should have experience of physics based simulation techniques, preferably in the building end use sector. Knowledge and application of data analytics or data mining techniques in the energy or a related arena are also considered to be essential criteria. The main responsibility of the position is to drive leading edge research in the specified field of work.

Salary: €40,000 - €52,000 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
