This new post offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Pathogen Genome Bioinformatician to join AFBI at a pivotal time to enable AFBI to harness the potential of genomics across the diverse data streams and remits of AFBI and to establish a new cross-cutting pathogen genomics and bioinformatics platform to drive the development of AFBI in forthcoming years. The successful candidate will lead and manage this high-priority area within a well-established and multi-disciplinary scientific group, providing considerable impacts for the agri-food industry and tangible achievements both within and beyond academia.
