    About the Role

    This is an excellent opportunity for developing work experience, skills and career development in international activities. Working with a number of European partners, the Assistant International Programme Manager (AIPM) will support the operational delivery of the work of the International Relations Unit. This will involve supporting with projects, assisting with budget management, contribution to briefings and serving as a point of contact between the grants delivery team.

    You will assist with the organisation of meetings, workshops and visits to overseas countries and maintain the web pages in the International section of BBSRC’s website.

    About You

    Ideally you will have a Degree in a biology-related subject with an aptitude for administrative planning. You will have excellent writing and interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with colleagues to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget. You have an understanding of the work of BBSRC including the purpose of international collaborations and you must be able to travel in the UK and Europe for short periods.
