A Postdoc position is available to study immune checkpoint regulators in atherosclerosis. Using genetic modified mice, the project will interrogate cell-specific and systemic effects of immune checkpoint regulators (e. g. leukocyte adhesion molecules, chemokines and hemokine receptors) in vivo. In vitro assays (e. g. T-cell and macrophage cultures), as well as RNAseq, FACS and protein signaling will then applied to study underlying molecular mechanisms. Our requirements:
Eligible candidates (m/f) should have experience with mouse models, immunological and molecular biological techniques, a strong motivation and team spirit. German language skills would be helpful, solid English skills written and spoken are mandatory. The successful candidate (m/f) should hold an above-average PhD degree in biological sciences or related fields and have experience with basic methods of molecular and cellular biology.
