Postdoctoral Position in Breast Cancer Signaling
Molecular Cell Biology Department, Weizmann Institute of Science
A Postdoctoral position is available at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, to study signaling networks in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) subtypes.
The goal of our study is to identify new therapeutic targets that can effectively inhibit cancer growth and/or prevent breast cancer metastasis and recurrence.
We apply multidisciplinary experimental using in vitro and in vivo models. Current projects are focused on drug resistance, cancer stem cells, combination therapies, and TNBC subtypes specific targets therapies. . Specific targets, such as the tyrosine kinase PYK2 (Verma et al., Nature Comm. 2015) and FAK are extensively studied.
