    About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The Barts Cancer Institute (BCI) hosts some of the most eminent cancer research teams in London. As part of the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (Queen Mary University of London), research at the BCI focuses on how to reduce the burden of disease and improve patient survival through early detection and diagnosis and the discovery and development of more effective and innovative therapies. The post holder will contribute to this ethos with a project focused on the development of more effective companion diagnostics for precision medicine. The goal of the project is to specifically examine the role of blood vessels in the control of therapy efficacy and will fit within the focus of the group in understanding and improving strategies to overcome therapy resistance in solid cancers.
