About the role:
Professor Iain Hagan is currently looking for a Post-doctoral researcher to join his Cell Division Group. The aim of the post is to investigate the role played by the centrosome in regulating the timing of commitment to mitosis in human cells. This role is an exciting opportunity to build a research programme emanating from core experiment results.
About you:
You should have a PhD in Biochemistry, Cell Biology or Genetics, along with significant research experience in biochemistry, molecular biology or cell biology. Previous experience in handling and manipulating human tissue culture lines is essential. Knowledge of cell cycle control along with experience with fluorescence microscopy of living and fixed samples and experience in studying enzymology, signalling or cell cycle controls is desirable.
