PostDoc Polymer Piezoelectric for MEMS

I am seeking Post-doc to be part of a multidiscipline team to work on a recently funded 3-year DoD ARO Basic Research Project. The aim of this project is to develop ground-breaking manufacturing technology to create multifunctional polymer thin film piezoelectric materials for MEMS applications. The project focuses on developing flexible and stretchable polymer-based piezoelectrics by modifying bulk semi-crystalline polymers, creating 0-3 and 1-3 composite materials and creation of hybrid stacked polymer/piezoelectric materials.
I am currently seeking highly motivated members to join my group. Members should have interest and experience in material science and/or MEMS microfabrication with degrees in related area. I’m seeking a Post-Doc that will be the team lead on the project which will involve developing materials, characterization setup, as well as mentoring graduate students, and collaborating with PI on future proposals. US citizenship is preferred but not required
