The Laboratory of Lipid Metabolism, member of the Research Center on Obesity and Comorbidities (OCRC) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), São Paulo, Brazil, offers a postdoctoral fellowship position in the following area: “Modulation of atherosclerosis by macrophage redox and inflammatory signaling”.
Candidates must have completed their PhD recently (maximum of two years) and have experience in: morphological analysis by light and confocal microscopy; extensive knowledge of cell and molecular biology techniques, immunodetection by flow cytometry, high resolution respirometry (seahorse), molecular biology (qRT-PCR, transfection-siRNA), mice manipulation (in vivo studies), immunohistochemistry and bone marrow transplantation.
We also expect capacity to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
The project will be conducted under the supervision of Helena C F Oliveira, PhD, and funded by the Brazilian reach agency FAPESP.Applicants are requested to send the following documents:
