Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Construction Management



    The School of Built Environment at Massey University (Albany) is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in one of its recently formed research groups to provide research assistance in Construction Management for the School of Built Environment. This particular position is for three years, full-time fixed-term, requires a PhD qualification (or very close to completion) and is based at the Auckland campus.

    In this appointment you will be expected to contribute to the group's research activities and you will have a strong background in areas relevant to one of the research groups in the school. In addition to a strong publication track record, previous experience in preparing competitive grants proposal is desirable.

    Key success factors include:
    • active participation in research programme and contribution to the ongoing research activities in Construction Management, particularly in (but not limited to) Offsite Construction/DfMA, Construction Procurement and Earned Value Management or Construction IT and Advanced Technologies
    • data collection, analysis and dissemination of research findings through publishing papers and other scholarly works in academic journals, books and other appropriate media.Present research and participate at national and international academic conferences
    • support in the teaching activities for the school and assist in the supervision of students at graduate and post-graduate level as required.
