Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Resilience/ Disaster Recovery/ Disaster Management/ Climate Change/ Sustainable Development



    The School of Built Environment at Massey University (Albany) is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in one of its recently formed research groups to provide research assistance in Construction Management for the School of Built Environment.

    In this appointment you will be expected to contribute to the group's research activities and you will have a strong background in areas relevant to one of the research groups in the school. In addition to strong publication track record, previous experience in preparing competitive grants proposal is desirable.

    Key success factors include:
    • active participation in research programme and contribution to the ongoing research activities in Resilience/Disaster Recovery/Disaster management/Climate Change/Sustainable Development or a related topic
    • data collection, analysis and dissemination of research findings through publishing papers and other scholarly works in academic journals, books and other appropriate media
    • present research and participate at national and international academic conferences.

    This particular position is a one year full-time fixed-term, and requires a PhD qualification (or very close to completion) and is based at the Auckland campus.
