Postdoctoral Research Associate/Research Fellow in Cancer Molecular Imaging



    The salary will be paid at Grade 6 £37,412-44,015 or Grade 7 £45,259-£46,490 per annum, inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.

    The City of London Major Centre is a network of researchers and clinicians funded by Cancer Research UK to advance cancer diagnosis and treatment for patient benefit. We are seeking an experienced Molecular Imaging Scientist to support the Centre’s research activities in radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and treating cancer.

    The post holder will play a central role in developing new radiopharmaceuticals targeting various cancer-related phenotypes and translating them to clinical use within the Centre. We are looking for someone with a range of biomolecule and cell labelling, radiochemistry, and preclinical biological evaluation skills, with a particular emphasis on cancer biology. This role will encompass varied responsibilities, including work on a wide range of collaborative projects.

    The role will be a basis for first- and senior author publications on the development of innovative methodologies in this field as well as co-authoring user-led publications. Overall, we are looking for someone to maximise dissemination of our innovations to benefit the research community within the Centre, within KCL, externally, and ultimately patients.

    The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
