This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Study Manager within the Discovery Research (DR) group at Invicro (based in London). We are seeking a Study Manager with clinical or pre-clinical imaging research experience to manage all internal aspects of projects with our Discovery Research group. The Role
The Senior Study Manager is responsible for managing the organization and reporting of pre-clinical imaging studies within the Discovery Research department as well as assisting with business development activities such as study pricing and quote generation.
Key responsibilities include:
Organisation and oversight of data acquisition, reporting, and preparation of scientific presentations / interpretation of results for a given study
Working closely with the Analysis team to ensure that all desired deliverables are generated in a scientifically-relevant form, acceptable to send to the customer, and goals of a given study are clearly addressed
Accountability for the accuracy of all data in a study and compilation/posting of study documentation
Oversight and management of project timelines and progress while working closely with Operations and Imaging Scientists to interface with customers and subcontractors on oversight of project finances
Function as a representative of the Discovery Research department within Invicro and maintain a positive attitude in interactions with all involved in a study, while focusing on collaborative problem-solving.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience with pre-clinical in vivo imaging techniques including understanding of theory, familiarity with data acquisition and analysis techniques, and experience in quality control and presentation of such data. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects at once. The candidate must be able to work quickly and accurately and pay strict attention to detail. They must be adaptable and capable of working and leading in a team environment. In addition, they must be able to professionally and confidently interact with customers and subcontractors, as well as prepare and deliver written summaries of work. They will be highly motivated and able to deliver to defined timelines, in collaboration with colleagues from the preclinical sciences and image analysis groups.
To be considered for this position, you will have:
• PhD with applicable experience; Technical Masters with 4+ years applicable industry experience or equivalent; Technical Bachelors with 6+ years applicable industry experience (e.g. engineering, physics, chemistry or biology)
• Previous biomedical research experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Superior time- and project-management skills
• Ability to work quickly with strict attention to detail
• Past leadership experience in a team environment
• Adaptable, able to professionally and confidently interact with teammates and subcontractors and deliver written summaries of work
• Basic understanding of (or past exposure to) small molecule radiochemistry and/or radio- or fluorescent labeling of proteins and/or MRI, PET, SPECT, or CT
