Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in the Reprogramming and Chromatin Group headed by Professor Petra Hajkova at the London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS) in Imperial College London. The group studies molecular mechanisms underlying epigenetic reprogramming in vivo and in vitro (for further information, please visit http://www.lms.mrc.ac.uk/Research/Groups/EDC/ReprogrammingChromatin/)

We are looking for a passionate scientist to join our efforts to elucidate molecular mechanisms implicated in the dynamic changes in nucleic acid modifications observed in early mouse embryo, developing germ line and pluripotent stem cells.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in epigenetics and/or in the field of nucleic acid chemistry and metabolism. Experience with HPLC and LC/MS would be highly desirable but not essential.

Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range £34,397- £37,486 p.a.
