    Are you interested in working for a world top 100 university, and an organisation that has been named as one of the best places to work in the UK for a third year in a row by The Sunday Times?The School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) is looking to recruit an outstanding MRC Skills Development Fellow.The aim of this Fellowship Programme in Population Health Systems Science and Decision Modelling is to train future research leaders. Through an intensive programme of interdisciplinary skills training, delivered within a nurturing environment, we will prepare you to take on grand challenges. You will leave the programme equipped for a world in which the effective translation of ideas across disciplinary boundaries, and between the public and researchers, is critical to the success of science. The Fellowship will provide an excellent opportunity for you to develop your own research ideas within a supportive, flexible and friendly environment.You will hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, have excellent quantitative skills and have clear potential for leadership in research. Fellows will have the opportunity to arrange a research visit of up to 6 month’s duration at a second centre that is world leading, either in the UK or abroad.The interdisciplinary programme is hosted by ScHARR in partnership with other University of Sheffield departments,institutes and one external partner.
