Applications are now invited for the post of Postdoctoral Researcher, level 1. This is a research focussed role, where the candidate will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of Prof. M-Tahar Kechadi.
The main objective if this research is to design, develop, and implement data analytics techniques in order to analyse the crop production and management datasets, with the view to optimise the whole process of crop production and management efficiency. We have already started gathering these data collections. The post-doctoral researcher will work on designing and developing scalable data analytics approaches that can deal with the challenges of these datasets, such as heterogeneity, veracity, velocity, and volume. Solutions to these challenges will involve looking into data representation, quality, transformations, etc. The successful candidate will work closely with the PI, as he has extensive expertise in this area.
Fixed Salary: €35,324 per annum
