    Applications are sought for a Post-doctoral Research Assistant to investigate the immune landscape in pancreatic cancer. The successful applicant will be an experienced, dynamic, post-doctoral research fellow well-versed with histopathology techniques such as Immunohistochemistry, Tissue microarray and multiplex staining, FACS and murine experiments. The ideal candidate would have good knowledge of lymphoid lineages such as T cells, dendritic cells and B-calls with assays employed for these cell types. Knowledge of cancer immunology, particularly pancreatic cancer would be highly desirable but not necessary. The research will be based in the Centre for Tumour Biology, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London.

    Essential requirements for this post include knowledge of techniques involved in assessing lymphoid lineages in cancer in vitro and in vivo, as well as FACS, histopathological techniques. Experience with cancer immunology would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records are also essential.

    The post is full time and for 3 years (if applicable – starting from 1st March 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter). Starting salary will be in the range (£33,615 - £35,459) per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and an interest free season ticket loan.
