This is a 3 year research-orientated role, where you will be engaged in the development of the new Publicpolicy.ie platform at UCD Geary Institute for Public Policy (GI). The UCD Geary Institute is a centre of excellence for policy-relevant, theoretically-informed, empirically-grounded research. The GI is striving to increase visibility of its thematic research areas, particularly among the policy community. As part of this process, GI recently acquired the domain name publicpolicy.ie (following funding cessation) and is now looking to develop a platform for providing and disseminating evidence to inform policy making and debate, and incorporate it within the UCD Geary Institute for Public Policy.

This role will offer unprecedented experience and access to an EU-wide network of collaborators made up of country coordination teams across Europe. Of note, as part of a mentor-based approach to developing independence as a researcher, you will be supported directly in the proposal-development process in partnership with UCD Research to pursue independent funding beyond the initial appointment.

See Job Description for more details.

    Salary: €36,854 - €39,138 per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

Closing Date: 17.00hrs (Local Irish Time) on 3rd October 2018.
Applications must be submitted by the closing date and time specified.
Any applications which are still in progress at the closing time of 17:00hrs (Local Irish Time) on the specified closing date will be cancelled automatically by the system. UCD are unable to accept late applications.

UCD do not require assistance from Recruitment Agencies. Any CVs submitted by Recruitment Agencies will be returned.

Prior to application, further information (including application procedure) should be obtained from the Work at UCD website: https://www.ucd.ie/workatucd/jobs/.
