    The Centre for Middle Eastern Plants tackles contemporary environmental challenges including sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, water conservation and climate change.

    We work with international and local partners across the Middle East and SW Asia on a diverse set of projects. These include biodiversity surveys, floristics, design of protected areas, restoration programmes, and capacity development, as well as working with landscape designers and architects to design planting schemes for green spaces.

    We are seeking applications from individuals with expertise relevant to Middle Eastern plant diversity and/or expertise in conservation and sustainability issues relevant to the plants of the region. The remit of this post is deliberately open to attract the best possible candidates from the widest field. We are interested in applicant’s ideas about what they can bring to RBGE’s work in SW Asia.
