Postdoctoral Position in Cancer Immunotherapy – Robert Kralovics Lab



    The laboratory of Robert Kralovics at CeMM has an opening for a postdoctoral position and is seeking individuals with experience in immunology and/or cancer immunotherapy. The group’s research concentrates heavily on investigating various immunotherapy approaches (vaccines, antibodies, CART cells) for the treatment of myeloproliferative disorders, especially those with mutated CALR (calreticulin) oncogenes (Klampfl et. al., N Engl J Med 369(25):2379-90). The available position presents an opportunity to become part of an ambitious and collaborative group within a vibrant research community located near the Vienna city center on the campus of the Medical University.
    Requirements and desired qualification

    + PhD degree in life sciences
    + Strong background and professional experience in immunology
    + Expertise in at least one of the following areas: characterization of CTL responses, T cell repertoire analysis, vaccination in mouse models, primary human T cell cultures and T cell analyses, NK cell cytotoxicity assays, phagocytosis, inflammation
    + Experience in working with different mouse models is considered a plus
    + Excellent interpersonal skills and passion for working in an international environment
    + Solid written and oral communication skills in English
