Job description: We seek a post-doctoral fellow to develop and apply remote/proximal sensing and data assimilation to phenotype key physiological traits associated with productivity, yield, and partitioning of biomass. The project aims to develop and refine techniques to characterize phenotypes important in engineering higher efficient crops.
The ideal applicant will:
• Be highly motivated
• Have a PhD in Environmental Science
(ecology, geography, remote sensing,
environmental monitoring, atmospheric
science, earth science, or related field)
• Have a strong academic and publication r
record
• Have research experience in remote
sensing, ecosystem, and/or land surface
modeling
• Experience with programming (e.g., R,
