    The Institute for Biologie Valrose (iBV) is a centre of excellence funded by Inserm, the CNRS and the University of Nice. The iBVs remit is to unravel the basic principles governing organism development and identifying the molecular basis of disease. Our team is interested in signalling pathways that ensure proper organ development and tissue maintenance and their links with cancer.     Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow to work on adrenal tissue renewal, the balance of cell proliferation and apoptosis and the pathways that lead to adrenocortical cancer. You will perform in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo experiments and analyse model systems on the phenotypic, molecular and genomic level. You will be working in an international research environment and benefit from state of the art equipment. The contract is for a period of 36months.

    The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have a PhD degree in biological or biomedical sciences and at least one first author manuscript submitted or published in a peer-reviewed journal. Good English communication and interpersonal skills are expected. A background in developmental/stem cell biology/mouse genetics are an advantage.
