    The French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Unit 1088) and the Facing-Face Institute (https://institut-faire-faces.eu/presentation/) are actively looking for the recruitment of a Post-doctorate researcher (two years contract).

    We are looking for highly motivated and academically outstanding candidates who want to pursue a scientific career in the fields of regenerative medicine and/or translational research. Strong candidates may have a background in stem cells research and regenarative medicine. Background in bone and vascular biologies will be welcomed but not mandatory. In the same way, we will consider applicants with a background in medicine and in biology (e.g., functional genomics, chemical biology, human genetics, molecular medicine, etc.) who have strong quantitative skills and a keen interest in pursuing systems medicine projects.

    *EDUCATION :*

    · PhD in biology with 0-5 years post-doctoral experience.

    *COMPETENCES :*

    · Ability for designing research projects including short-term and long-term experimental plans, needs assessment, plannings, studies follow up (timelines, costs, deliverables)
    · Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to work independently to design experiments, interpret data, troubleshoot, and suggest next steps.
    · Leadership skills and entrepreneurial behaviors.
    · Excellent oral and written communication skills, work well independently and as a team member, and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to organize and communicate complex data sets in a clear and concise manner to key stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
    · Ability to supervise trainees.
    · Experience and/or ability to learn in vivo models of surgery and transplantation techniques is also essential.

    *LANGUAGES :*
    · English: written / reading / spoken is required
    · French : written / reading / spoken is welcome but not mandatory.

    We offer a monthly salary of EUR 1,850 paid 12 times a year for the post-doctoral Training Fellow position (annual salary: EUR 22,200)

    Although funding is available for a two-year period to support the position, the selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for external peer-reviewed fellowships, as the research project is planed to evolved in a near futur.
