Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate post within the Composites Group of the University. This is an EU Horizon2020 funded 48 month vacancy. A fixed-term contract will be offered to the successful candidate. Remuneration will depend on previous experience but the appointee should be expecting to receive a salary of £30,000 - £37,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will be expected to make significant contributions to the development of multiscale and wave propagation modelling tools for composite structures and complex mechanical and acoustic metamaterials. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a consistent publication track record in the areas of numerical modelling and/or composite structures and/or metamaterials and/or NDE.

This funding call is open to all UK, EU and International applicants.
