    Molecular Phytopathology and Mycotoxin Research Section at the University of Goettingen offers a full-time postdoctoral position salaried according to German standards (TV-L 13) for three years with an option for extension, beginning on July 15th, 2017:

    TASKS: Research on fungal secondary metabolites with a focus on metabolite profiling by HPLC-MS, collaboration with external partners, supervision of MSc- and PhD projects, participation on teaching and management tasks.

    REQUIREMENTS: PhD in a relevant field; sound knowledge of HPLC- MS; good command of English (C1/B2) and basic knowledge of German; experience with one or more research topics of the lab would be beneficial.

    Our lab investigates biological functions of secondary metabolites such as mycotoxins in interactions of fungi with fungi, plants and arthropods, relying on analytical chemistry and methods of molecular biology. The working language of our international team is English.
