Postdoctoral Research Associate in Epidemiology



    We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Epidemiology with strong statistical/epidemiological skills to undertake research on the relation between prenatal exposure to toxic metals (lead, cadmium and arsenic) and health outcomes (lung function, blood pressure, cognitive function) in children in an English birth cohort, under the supervision of Professor Seif Shaheen. This is an MRC-funded project.
    The successful candidate will be responsible for the merging of new laboratory data with existing data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC), analysing exposure-health associations, and writing up the findings for publication.
    Start date: 01/09/2025.
